Yes, your Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort MagicBand+ can be used as a DisneyBand+ during select Disney Cruise Line sailings. In addition, you can use your DisneyBand+ purchased for a Disney cruise as a MagicBand+ when you visit Walt Disney World Resort or the Disneyland Resort.
MagicBand+ On Board Disney Cruise Line Ships
You can use a previously purchased MagicBand+ as a DisneyBand+ during your Disney cruise, starting with the Disney Wish preview. While this technology is currently only available on the Disney Wish, DisneyBand+ will begin to make its way to select sailings aboard other Disney Cruise Line ships after the preview period has ended.
DisneyBand+ at Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort
DisneyBand+ uses the same technology as the popular MagicBand+ technology used at Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort, so you can choose to use your DisneyBand+ instead of a MagicBand+ when visiting Walt Disney World Resort in Florida or the Disneyland Resort in California.
