I purchased a MagicBand+ online or at a retail location. How do I link it to a MyDisney account so that I can use it? 

A:

If you purchased your MagicBand+ at the Disney store online or at a retail location, please follow these steps to link it to your MyDisney account:

Step 1: Power on your MagicBand+ by pressing the button on the back, in the lower right corner.

Step 2: Hold up your band to the back of your smart device, or go directly to the “Link to Account” section in the My Disney Experience mobile app.

Step 3: Follow the directions in the app to finish linking your MagicBand+ or MagicBand to your MyDisney account.

Once that’s done, be sure to sure to link your theme park tickets, reservations and more to your MyDisney account.
