Stroll in style with Disney as you skip the hassle of bringing a stroller from home! Take advantage of single and multi-day stroller rentals—available at all 4 Walt Disney World theme park entrances. Look for the stroller symbol on each park guidemap.
Baby Care Centers
Forgot sunscreen, diapers, or other family essentials? Visit a Baby Care Center to stock up on many of the items you might need for your little ones. Great for those with infants, toddlers and preschoolers looking for a place to rest, relax or have a snack in each of our 4 theme parks. There’s also a private room for nursing mothers and a waiting room for the rest of the family. Check out your park guidemap or ask a Cast Member for more location information.
Suppose you have one child (or parent) who loves the more thrilling attractions and a younger child who’s not quite ready for them? That’s where Rider Switch comes in. This handy service is available at select Walt Disney World Resort attractions and allows Guests to take turns waiting with youngsters too young or too small to ride a certain attraction, then “switch” with another adult Guest from their party to experience the attraction without standing in line twice. See a Cast Member at the attraction for additional information.
Experience a whole new level of fun and convenience with FastPass+ by reserving attractions and entertainment online at your convenience—and make changes on the go! Rest easy knowing that many of your must-dos are set before you even leave home.
Make each vacation uniquely yours! Use FastPass+ in conjunction with MagicBands and the My Disney Experience site or mobile app to take unprecedented control of your trip and enjoy even more memorable moments with family and friends. Kids will delight in customizing their MagicBands by taking advantage of the countless color and character options.
Traveling with preschoolers can be tricky. Meal times, rest periods, snack breaks (and meltdowns) must be managed and mom-aged on the "fly," which can be exhausting.
Yet the preschool years are also the perfect time to take children to Walt Disney World Resort—a sweet, curious, imaginative age when everything is magical and exciting. Parents can't help but smile when they see their child's eyes light up with wonder—and suddenly it's all worth it!
To make sure you get a vacation, too, you'll need to be strategic...
FastPass+ allows you to bypass long lines by visiting a ride or attraction during a designated window of time. Any time you can avoid combining a preschooler and a long line, you should! Best of all, it's free with park admission.
Kids love wearing their special bracelets that, with a simple touch, can beep them in at a FastPass+ entrance or unlock their Disney Resort hotel room door. And parents love using their MagicBand to charge restaurant and shopping purchases to that same room!
3. Memory Maker
This package gives you instant access to any and all attraction and restaurant photos taken of you at the park. Shots are linked to your Disney account and available for download. Relax and let Disney photographers capture every magical moment.
4. Rent a Stroller at the Park
Even if your kids are past the stroller age, plan to rent a stroller (or double stroller) near the Main Entrance to the Disney parks. When your little ones eventually hit the snooze button, you can stroll around and enjoy a leisurely lunch while the kids stroller-nap.
5. Stay a Disney Resort Hotel
The magic never ends when you stay on property at a Disney Resort hotel—and there's so much to do: Disney Junior-themed parties, poolside movies, campfires and s'mores, plus the ease of walking to and from the theme parks from your hotel!
6. Disney's Magical Express
You never have to lug your luggage because Disney does it for you, making it magically appear at your Resort hotel—and then back onto your flight when you depart. This is true magic for parents. Bibbidi. Bobbidi. Boo!
7. Mickey Check
Here's a Disney secret that should be shared: Disney Parks have healthy, balanced meals for kids—and grown-ups, too! Look for the "Mickey Check" on the menus and you will find a meal with carrots and apples or grapes with a nice protein to keep them going!
8. My Disney Experience Mobile App
Download this time-saving private planning app to your mobile device now! It will allow you to schedule or change your FastPass+ selections, find out wait times on favorite rides, preview café menus and view your Disney PhotoPass photos immediately!
9. Disney Springs
This dining, shopping and entertainment destination is equally fun for adults and little ones. Book a 1960s Amphicar—cars that "drive" on the water—and then enjoy dinner at The Boathouse, where your table might be a boat. What's more kid-friendly than that!
10. Lilo's Playhouse
Here's a little secret: Disney is not just for kids. Drop the little ones off at this kid's club and treat yourself to an adult date night. Grab a drink at one of the Epcot countries followed by dinner on Disney's BoardWalk. Romance on a family vacation? You bet!
11. Baby Centers
For nursing moms, check out the lovely baby centers sprinkled throughout the parks, where mom and baby can relax, cool off and feed—or nurse while on "it's a small world"!
12. Rider Switch
Sometimes you can't take all the kids on the same ride—especially if you have an infant. No worries! Just tell a Cast Member at the front of the line that you want to do a Rider Switch. Your spouse can take half the kids while you hold the baby, and then you switch!
13. Charging Station
We've all dependent on our mobile phones these days, but if your mobile device dies in the middle of the day—as they like to do—no problem! Just visit one of our many Disney charging stations. We think you'll get a charge out it!
14. Plan Ahead and Stay for a While
Kids need downtime—and so do you! If you can, stay a few extra days to avoid the stress of trying to see and do everything at once. Use FastPass+ service and plan each day, and include an afternoon "time out"—for everyone—by your Resort hotel pool.
15. Visit During the Holidays
Combine the magic of Disney with the magic of the holidays! All of Walt Disney World Resort is festive and dressed to the nines, with holiday music, lights and a huge Christmas tree—as only Disney can do! (Hint: Just before or after Thanksgiving is especially ideal.)
Start your journey with a splash by diving into Finding Nemo – The Musical, a must-"sea" adventure starring your favorite clown fish from the Disney•Pixar classic. Spectacular music and stunning puppetry will transport you and your loved ones to a magical undersea world.
Your dinosaur-obsessed kids are sure to "dig" The Boneyard, an open-air prehistoric playground full of funny bones to pick and fossils to uncover and discover—perfect for preschool paleontologists!
Climb aboard the Wildlife Express Train at Harambe Station for a relaxing 7-minute journey through the "wilds" of Africa. Along the way you'll enjoy up-close, insider views into the some of the park's housing and veterinary facilities for rhinos, elephants and other amazing creatures. Next, stop at Rafiki's Planet Watch to explore Conservation Station, a wildlife conservation center featuring fun, educational exhibits, and Affection Section, a petting zoo offering hands-on close encounters of the furry kind.
