Q:

I do not have a MyDisney account. Can I still use a MagicBand+?

A:

MagicBand+ will work with the new exclusive MagicBand+ experiences, with or without linking the MagicBand+ to a MyDisney account through the My Disney Experience mobile app. However, with certain features such as park entry or Lightning Lane entrances, it will not work without linking to a MyDisney account and the appropriate entitlements. Follow these steps to create and set up your account:

Create Your MyDisney Account Profile
Start by personalizing your profile with your favorite Disney Character. Just give us a few details and you’re ready to start planning your next Disney vacation. 

Create Your Family & Friends List
Add the Guests in your travel group so you can make and share plans together. 

Link Your Reservations and Tickets

Once your travel details are linked to your MyDisney account, you can view and update them on your My Plans page. 

Manage Your Vacation on My Plans
As you book select Resort hotels, dining, park tickets and theme park reservations, you can view them all on your My Plans page. My Plans organizes your vacation details into daily itineraries so you can easily update and add reservations or schedule personal reminders. Plus, you’ll get next-steps and key planning dates to help you get the most out of your Walt Disney World vacation.

Filled with handy features, the My Disney Experience mobile app lets you view and update your plans, make dining reservations, search maps of all 4 theme parks, get real-time attraction wait times and more. It also gives you access to a Disney MagicMobile pass—a convenient and contactless way to use certain MagicBand+ or MagicBand features, like theme park entry, through the power of eligible iPhones, Apple Watch or Google Pay-enabled Android phones.
