Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge – Frequently Asked Questions

Q.

Can I join the virtual queue for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance before I enter Disney's Hollywood Studios?

A.

No. To join the virtual queue for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, you—and all members of your party who would like to use the virtual queue—must have entered Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Several minutes after you have entered Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can request to join the virtual queue and be assigned a boarding group, either with the My Disney Experience app or at Guest Experience Team locations inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Each boarding group may include other Guests, in addition to members of your individual party.

Please check the app and digital signage around Disney’s Hollywood Studios to see if the virtual queue is being used when you visit.

Guests may join the virtual queue starting at the published opening time for the day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Capacity is limited. Joining the virtual queue does not guarantee entrance to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.

Guests may be assigned to a “backup” boarding group. Backup boarding groups are only called if all previous boarding groups have been called and there is extra capacity for additional Guests.
