Are there MagicBand+ charging stations at the theme parks?
A:
There are no charging stations at the theme parks, so we recommend charging your MagicBand+ once before visiting our theme parks and nightly during your stay.
MagicBand+ Battery Life
Upon purchase or receipt of your band, it is recommended to charge it to high battery levels (green animation) for the most optimal usage.
Even if your MagicBand+ battery is depleted (0% after use), you can still use it for certain features such as:
- Theme park entry (with valid admission—and theme park reservation, if applicable)
- Water park and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex entry (with valid admission)
- Lightning Lane entry
- Disney Resort hotel room entry
- Charging purchases to the payment card on file at your Disney Resort hotel room during your stay
- Disney PhotoPass photographer interactions and select photo touch points
Certain MagicBand+ functionality and features, such as automatic association of Disney PhotoPass attraction photos to your linked MyDisney account, software updates, customization settings, and use with certain Park and Resort interactive experiences may be affected if the MagicBand+ battery is not adequately charged.
A Helpful Tip
To conserve the battery life of your MagicBand+, simply keep it turned off and then power it back on when you want to access all of its features. Turn your MagicBand+ off by pressing and holding the button on the back of the band for 6 seconds, until it buzzes twice. The lights will glow red to indicate the MagicBand+ has powered off.
