Upgrade your Florida Resident Ticket to an Annual Pass

You may be able to upgrade your ticket to an Annual Pass so you can extend the magic with year-round benefits and special perks! If your ticket is eligible, you can apply the price paid for your ticket towards the price of an available Annual Pass, subject to restrictions.

Please note the following timing requirements for upgrading eligible tickets:

• 1-Day Ticket: Can be upgraded on or before the day that you use the ticket.
• Multi-Day Ticket: Can be upgraded on or before the last day of use. To upgrade to an Annual Pass enrolled in the Florida Resident monthly payment program, the upgrade must also occur within 14 days of the ticket’s first use.

Important Information

• Special event tickets, complimentary tickets, water park tickets, fully used tickets, partially used and expired tickets, and tickets stating that they are ineligible for an upgrade may not be upgraded to an Annual Pass. A wholly unused, expired ticket may be upgraded. An upgrade is subject to your prior ticket usage. A ticket used on a blockout date for an Annual Pass type cannot be upgraded into that Annual Pass type. For example, the Disney Pixie Dust Pass has blockout dates on Saturdays, Sundays and during peak periods, so if you use a ticket on a Saturday, that ticket cannot be upgraded to a Disney Pixie Dust Pass.
• The Annual Pass will be backdated to begin on the first day the ticket was used and will be valid for one year from such date.
• Existing park reservations associated with a ticket will not transfer to the Annual Pass. Separate park reservations associated with the Annual Pass are required for park entry. To enter a theme park, each Passholder must have a park reservation in addition to a valid pass. Park reservations are limited and are subject to availability and applicable pass blockout dates.
• A ticket may only be upgraded to an available Annual Pass so long as the current price of the pass is equal to or greater than the amount paid for the ticket. Only the amount paid for one ticket may be applied towards the upgrade to one Annual Pass; tickets may not be combined for an upgrade.
• The Guest purchasing the upgrade must be the Guest who used the ticket for admission.
• Not all Annual Passes may be available for purchase or upgrades from time to time or at any given time.
• The then-current terms, conditions and benefits associated with the newly purchased Annual Pass will apply, including the Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass Terms and Conditions.
• Additional restrictions may apply.

There are a few ways to upgrade an eligible ticket to an Annual Pass:

• Via the My Disney Experience App: Select tickets can be upgraded via the My Disney Experience app. Open the app, tap the menu and then tap “My Tickets & Passes.” Find the ticket you’d like to upgrade (if you don’t see it, then you may need to link your ticket to your account). Tickets that can be upgraded in the app will display a “Change Ticket” option. Tap “Change Ticket” and then follow the instructions to upgrade it.
• In-Person at Walt Disney World Resort: Visit any Guest Relations location or the Concierge Desk at your Disney Resort hotel. Wholly unused, expired tickets and tickets that are upgraded on the last valid day of use can only be upgraded in-person.
