Am I required to sign up for a Disney account to link a ticket to a MagicBand or card?


Yes. To link a ticket, you must have a Disney account or sign up for a new account. You do not technically link a ticket to a MagicBand or card; you link a ticket to your Disney account. You can access tickets linked to your account with any active MagicBand or card that is also linked to the account.

Once you’ve signed up for a Disney account, you’ll find that it’s quick and easy to access and manage your tickets in the My Reservations section of My Disney Experience. My Reservations also conveniently lists the Resort hotel reservations, vacation packages and dining reservations that you purchased or reserved on
