Play Disney Parks App – Frequently Asked Questions
Q:
How do you create a Disney account that a child can use with the Play Disney Parks app?
A:
Children need permission from their parent or guardian to create a MyDisney account and to use that account with the Play Disney Parks app. To do so, please follow these steps:
- Download the Disney Parks Play app on the mobile device that your child will use.
- Open the app.
- Select the Mickey Mouse icon located in the top left of the screen.
- If you are prompted to, select “Log In”.
- Tap “Create an Account”.
- Fill in all required fields and tap “Request Account”. Select “Agree” to continue.
- An email will be sent to the address that was entered in the “Parent Email Address” field with important information and instructions on how to approve or deny the child’s request to create the MyDisney account
- Follow the instructions in the email to approve the creation of the MyDisney account and give your child permission to use the new account to log into the Play Disney Parks app.
Your child will now be able to log in to the Play Disney Parks app with their MyDisney account.
If you change your mind, you can revoke the permission for your child to use their MyDisney account with the Play Disney Parks app or delete their MyDisney account.
Wrong Email Address
Was the incorrect email address entered in the “Parent Email Address” field?
The easiest way to address this issue is to start over, create a new account and enter the correct email address in the “Parent Email Address” field.
Please use the app or website that was originally used to try to create the account—such as the Play Disney Parks app. While some Disney apps and websites do allow the creation of a MyDisney account for a child, disneyworld.com does not allow Guests to do so.
If you require further assistance, please call (407) 939-5277. Guests younger than 18 years of age must have parent or guardian permission to call.
