Thomas Kinkade Studios Showcase
Legacy Artist Dirk Wunderlich and artists Zac Kinkade, Allison Rook and Taylor Summerlin will be appearing to meet Guests and sign art pieces. A Thomas Kinkade representative will also be on hand to showcase the special assortment of art available at the event.
Thomas Kinkade captured the timeless magic of classic Disney stories and their captivating characters through the style of “narrative panoramas." Each painting tells the entire story of a Disney film in one image, taking inspiration from art, sketches and other historic documents from the Disney Archives.

The Thomas Kinkade Studios Showcase will take place all day at The Art of Disney in Disney Springs on the following dates:

Legacy Artist Dirk Wunderlich
Dirk’s interest in drawing Disney characters came at an early age. In the early ‘80s, Dirk began to design advertising layouts and catalogs for Disney’s non-theatrical film rental division. That opportunity would lead to work on the launch of The Disney Channel. Years later, Dirk met Thomas Kinkade, who saw real talent and took him under his wing. After several years perfecting his techniques and styles—Dirk became a Thomas Kinkade Studios Legacy Artist.
Artist Zac Kinkade
Zac Kinkade—Thomas Kinkade’s nephew—was born in 1992 and has been passionate about art his entire life. Deciding that art was his calling, Zac attended the Fort Worth Academy of Fine Art. During this time, he began apprenticing at the Thomas Kinkade Company to explore his own aesthetic vision. He then graduated with honors from the prestigious school of art and architecture at Cornell University. Following in his uncle’s footsteps—and in service of his own life as a painter—Zac attended the internationally known Art Center School of Design in Pasadena.
Zac has taken a position as a publishing artist for Art Brands Studios. He is truly creating his own legacy with pencil and brush. While his originals have been sought after by collectors for many years, he began publishing his art in limited-edition format beginning in the spring of 2015.
Artist Allison Rook
Allison Rook grew up on the east coast of Florida not far from Walt Disney World Resort. As a child, Allison spent her days scribbling with crayons until these images came to life. She received her undergraduate degree in Business Sales/Marketing, and then later pursued her MBA in Information Technology Management from the Florida Institute of Technology. Allison’s family and friends play a significant role in her life, and she couldn’t have gotten to this point without their support. Allison always aspired to fulfill her dream of being an artist and is proud to be a member of the Thomas Kinkade family. She is excited to see her lifelong dream brought to fruition and to see how her relationship with art can grow in the future.
Artist Kyree Tilsher
Kyree Tilsher is one of the youngest sketch artists at Thomas Kinkade Studios, bringing a lifelong passion for Disney and art to her new role. Raised on the magic of Disney, Kyree grew up with classic characters and stories which inspired her love for sketching at an early age. In 2022, Kyree significantly advanced her skills by taking on a personal challenge to create over 365 pieces of art in a year. Though she hasn’t taken the traditional art school path, Kyree has gained valuable experience through mentorship and feedback from prominent animators. Kyree is excited to share her passion and creativity with Disney guests—especially the youngest ones—showing them it’s never too early to start following your dreams.

About the Artist
Born and raised in the Piedmont region of North Carolina, David began his art career at an early age. He left a commercial art position to pursue his interest in fine art. He has had much success over the years with sold-out editions and a huge collector following. Working in watercolors, his art is internationally known for his great attention to detail. His work is available in Disney theme parks around the world and on Disney Cruise Line ships

About the Artist
Larry Dotson is an internationally recognized artist, best known for his oils of coastal scenes, sunsets and golf courses. His golf prints can be found in many pro shops throughout the Hawaiian Islands. From 1983 to 1995, Larry showcased his works in his galleries in Lahaina, Maui. Being in Hawaii, considered the art capital of the Pacific, enabled him to reach clients worldwide. During his time in Maui, Larry was asked to present a one-man show in Nagoya, Japan, which gave him international status. Larry and his wife Patti currently live in Orlando, Florida. He continues to market his works in the Hawaiian Islands, Florida and nationwide.

About the Artist
Oil painter Rob Kaz draws on his background in animation and video games to tell stories on canvas using expressive light and color. With each painting, Rob’s goal is to evoke emotion, inspire smiles and leave the viewer longing to relive that moment again and again.
Whether it’s a fond memory of time spent at Magic Kingdom park in the rain, a childhood recollection of Tinker Bell that longs for revival, or the sheer and simple happiness we have all come to know by being Disney fans, Rob paints those experiences because they are, in fact, his own, composed based on the passion that comes from being a Disney fan himself.

About the Artist
William Silvers is an artist with 25 years of commercial success. An Ohio native, he was inspired by his father who was also an artist. He attended Bowling Green University where he received a BFA in Graphic Design at the age of 21. Fresh out of college with a little advertising experience under his belt, William co-founded Live Wire Studios, a full-service art studio in Cleveland, Ohio.
In 1995, his film career began at Walt Disney Feature Animation where he adapted his fine art painting skills to the world of filmmaking. For almost 10 years, he created unforgettable backgrounds for Disney animated classics such as Mulan, Tarzan, Lilo & Stitch and Brother Bear. William has also created new and exciting fine art pieces for several Disney galleries and Lucasfilm Ltd. His relationship with the Walt Disney Company continues to be a consistent theme in his career. “What began as a foray into film making blossomed into a comprehensive career, the foundation for which was Disney Animation.”

About the Artists
Greg McCullough
Greg McCullough is a self-made creative entrepreneur known for his humility and his “never stop learning” perspective. For more than 40 years, Greg’s career success has included time as a caricaturist, specialty advertising artist, and at present, a fine art oil painter. Greg transformed his studio from conventional airbrush to fully digital in 1994—he is a pioneer of digital illustration with praise from John Lasseter. With a long list of national clients, Gregʼs crown jewel is his relationship with the Walt Disney Company, which includes creating character art for advertising and promotions for Disney Parks, and as a fine artist within the Art of Disney family.
Nath McCullough
Nath McCullough is endlessly curious, self-taught and an energetic lover of life. During her time in the corporate and financial world of Montreal, her escape from stress was simply travel to Walt Disney World Resort, multiple times per year. Captured by the beauty of Greg’s paintings, and the human being who created them, Nath moved to Orlando in 2019, where her creativity fully blossomed.
Immersed in an artist’s life, she passionately and tirelessly spent her days painting and learning. In 2020 Nath was approved as a Disney fine artist with her own line of paintings. Then in 2021, she proudly presented her first painting at the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.

About the Artist
Jim Shore grew up in South Carolina where he inherited a love of American folk art from his parents. His grandmother was a master quilter who taught him the patience and skill to bring intricate designs to life. In 1991, Jim and his wife, Jan, took a chance and started their own company to manufacture his designs. After the company grew too large for him to focus on his art, Jim partnered with a large company to create one of his well-known collections. He then created Disney Traditions by Jim Shore, having a lifelong love of Disney films and characters. The unmistakable style of Jim Shore combines a vibrant color palette with images drawn from folk art forms including quilting, rosemaling and tole painting. Jim’s fresh interpretation of traditional design and Disney art has broad appeal and works with a variety of themes and formats.

About the Artist
Bret Iwan became the fourth person to provide the official voice for Mickey Mouse in 2009 (a role first performed by Walt Disney himself). Bret continues to lend his famous falsetto to television series, theme parks, toys, games, marketing campaigns and more. Voice acting is among Bret’s numerous creative talents, having begun his career as an illustrator and designer—skills he continues to call upon as a designer of Disney merchandise, fine art, publishing and collectibles.
