Characters Off the Page

Make your way around the world to visit some of your favorite Disney characters and get a glimpse of their nearby portraits.

MEXICO PAVILION

Donald Duck
When visiting Donald in Mexico, be sure to check out his bright self-portrait nearby, where he drew inspiration from Mexican artist and activist Frida Kahlo, who was known for her exploration of self-portraiture.

CHINA PAVILION

Mulan
While visiting Mulan, pause and enjoy a stunning portrait of the brave heroine herself, scorched artfully onto traditional parchment by her family’s guardian, Mushu.  

GERMANY PAVILION

Snow White
When visiting Snow White, pause and admire a tender portrait of the princess, painted by Doc in the style of 19th-century German Romanticism. 
 
FRANCE PAVILION

Aurora
On your way to visit Aurora, take a moment to admire a graceful nearby portrait of the princess that captures the vibrant watercolor style signature of French Impressionism, done in tandem by the fairies Flora and Merriweather.

Belle
As you visit with Belle, take in the nearby artistry of a handcrafted easel displaying a portrait of the princess, done in quick Parisian sketch work by her crafty father, Maurice. 
 
UNITED KINGDOM PAVILION 

White Rabbit
When visiting with Alice, take note of a nearby portrait of the White Rabbit, drawn from memory in Alice’s journals upon returning from her adventures in Wonderland.
