When you reserve Disney’s Magical Express, you can begin your vacation the moment you step off the plane. Domestic passengers can bypass baggage claim and all Guests can avoid the inconvenience and cost of driving or finding ground transportation. With this special benefit of staying at select Disney Resort hotels, you'll get from the airport to your accommodations in comfort and have your bags delivered directly to your room. You’ll also enjoy a complimentary ride back to Orlando International Airport on the day you check out of your Disney Resort hotel.

How to Reserve Disney’s Magical Express

International Guests
Reserve through the same travel agent or tour operator who booked your trip. Tell your agent you would like to include Disney’s Magical Express with your Walt Disney World Resort hotel plans.

Guests under age 18 must have parent or guardian permission to call.

Pre-Arrival

Please read this important information about Disney’s Magical Express and packing for your vacation.

Disney’s Magical Express Information and Luggage Tags
Once you’ve reserved Disney’s Magical Express, we will mail you details and luggage tags approximately 2 to 3 weeks prior to your arrival. After receiving the tags, please attach them to each bag you would like Disney’s Magical Express to deliver to your Resort hotel room.

If you haven’t received your luggage tags by the time you head to your local airport—and are scheduled to arrive in Orlando between 5:00 AM and 10:00 PM—there’s no need to worry. Simply provide your baggage claim numbers to a representative at the Disney’s Magical Express service location at the airport and we’ll take care of the rest.

If your touchdown in Orlando is overnight, between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM, you’ll need to retrieve your checked items as our luggage service is not available during those hours. Please see the procedure in the Arrival section below.

Do not place any Disney’s Magical Express luggage tags on any items you plan to personally retrieve from the baggage claim area and bring with you on the motorcoach.

Pack a Carry-On Bag
If you plan to take advantage of the complimentary luggage delivery service of Disney’s Magical Express—for flights arriving between 5:00 AM and 10:00 PM—be sure to keep any medications, valuables and items essential to your first day at Walt Disney World Resort with you. Your luggage will travel separately to your Disney Resort hotel and may arrive up to 3 hours after you.

Depending on your first-day plans, consider the following for your carry-on:

  • Swimsuits
  • Sunscreen
  • An extra set of clothes
  • Comfortable shoes

For evening arrivals:

  • Pajamas
  • Toothbrush/toothpaste

Also, remember not to pack your MagicBands in checked luggage, as you will need them to check in with Disney’s Magical Express and unlock your hotel room.

If you have not received your MagicBand, please be prepared to present your Disney’s Magical Express documents—mailed separately to you—to board the motorcoach. You will receive your MagicBand upon arrival at your Disney Resort hotel. If you have a Disney’s Magical Express reservation, but do not have documents, be ready to present government-issued photo identification and a Cast Member will assist you.

Traveling with Service Animals and Pets
Service animals may travel on Disney’s Magical Express in the passenger cabin with their owners.

Pet dogs may travel on Disney’s Magical Express if their owners are staying at one of the 4 pet-friendly Disney Resort hotels. Dogs must ride in the motorcoach’s passenger cabin, in an owner-provided pet carrier which fits safely in a seat.

We recommend you view and print out a map of Orlando International Airport—including the location of Disney’s Magical Express—before you leave home.

Arrival

This section covers how to find Disney's Magical Express at Orlando International Airport and how your luggage will be transported to your Resort hotel.

Domestic Arrivals
Take the train from your arrival gate to the main terminal, disembarking on Level 3. Between 5:00 AM and 10:00 PM, head directly to Disney’s Magical Express, located in the Ground Transportation Area in Terminal B, Level 1. Disney will claim your checked luggage on your behalf and deliver it directly to your Resort hotel room via our delivery service. If you arrive between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM, you will need to claim your luggage on Level 2 before proceeding to Disney’s Magical Express.

Guests arriving in Terminal A of the airport are advised to cross to Terminal B before continuing to Level 1. Upon arrival at Disney's Magical Express, please let us know if you will need assistance boarding the motorcoach.

International Arrivals
Upon exiting your aircraft, enter the U.S. Immigration checkpoint. After retrieving your luggage, proceed to the Customs checkpoint.

When exiting the Customs area you may keep your checked bags with you to travel on the motorcoach, or use our complimentary luggage delivery service—available for flights landing between 5:00 AM and 10:00 PM. To take advantage of this complimentary service, simply return your checked luggage to the transfer carousel after completing the immigration and customs process. Disney will claim your baggage and deliver it to your Resort hotel.

Take the train to the main terminal building where you will arrive on Level 3. Disney's Magical Express is located in Terminal B, Level 1. Guests arriving in Terminal A of the airport are advised to cross to Terminal B before proceeding down to Level 1. Upon arrival, please let us know if you will need assistance boarding the motorcoach.

Luggage Delivery Between 5:00 AM and 10:00 PM
Disney’s Magical Express includes complimentary luggage delivery from Orlando International Airport to your Disney Resort hotel room between 5:00 AM and 10:00 PM.

While you ride to your Resort hotel in comfort on the Disney Magical Express motorcoach, your luggage will be transported separately and delivered directly to your room.

Bypass the baggage claim area in the main terminal and proceed directly to Disney's Magical Express located in Terminal B, Level 1. If you did not place Disney’s Magical Express luggage tags on your checked items, be prepared to provide your airline baggage claim numbers so Disney can collect your luggage for delivery to your Resort hotel.

Please remember: your luggage will travel separately to your Disney Resort hotel and may arrive up to 3 hours after you. See the above Pre-Arrival section for suggestions on essentials to pack in a carry-on.

Luggage Transport Between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM
Our Disney’s Magical Express luggage delivery service is not in operation from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM. If you arrive between these hours, please collect your luggage at the baggage claim area on Level 2 and bring it with you to the Disney's Magical Express service counter. Your luggage will travel with you on the motorcoach to your Disney Resort hotel. Luggage assistance will be available upon arrival at the hotel.

Departure

Following are important details to know leading up to your departure for Orlando International Airport.

The day before you check out, we will deliver a Disney’s Magical Express transportation notice to your Disney Resort hotel room. The departure time and place for your motorcoach ride back to Orlando International Airport will be on this notice—based on flight information you provided when you reserved our service.

To ensure that you do not miss your flight, motorcoach departure times are scheduled to allow time to travel to Orlando International Airport and proceed to your airline gate. Please note that it is your responsibility to bring your luggage to the departure point. Bell service luggage assistance is available upon request.

Be sure to have your transportation notice ready when it’s time for your Disney’s Magical Express departure. Your motorcoach driver will collect the notice before you board. Please note: MagicBands cannot be used to check in for your trip from the hotel to Orlando International Airport.

Resort Airline Check-In

Guests who fly on a participating airline and stay at select Disney Resort hotels are automatically enrolled in the Resort Airline Check-In service when arriving through Disney’s Magical Express. This service allows you to obtain your boarding pass and check your luggage at your Disney Resort hotel, bypassing airport check-in completely.

If you choose not to check your luggage with Resort Airline Check-In, please have it loaded on the motorcoach that will be taking you to the airport. Bell service luggage assistance is available upon request.
