Familiares y Amigos en My Disney Experience – Preguntas frecuentes
P:
Why do I have duplicate profiles on my Family & Friends list?
R:
When you are connected to multiple profiles with the same name and age, they are flagged as possible duplicate profiles on your Family & Friends list.
There are many reasons why you may have duplicate profiles. You may have created more than one profile for the same person. You and someone else may have created a profile for the same person. Or, you may have created a profile for someone who created their own profile.
Why You Should Merge Duplicate Profiles
If these profiles were created for the same person, we recommend that you merge them into one profile so that it’s easier to manage plans and entitlements for that person. Plus, it helps avoid any potential confusion that could arise when juggling multiple profiles.
Don’t worry! When you merge 2 profiles, all reservations, tickets, plans, purchases, MagicBands, cards, Disney PhotoPass photos, affiliations and Family & Friends connections linked to each profile will merge onto one profile and nothing will be lost.
When a Merge Is Pending
If a duplicate profile is managed by another person, they will need to approve the merge as well. While the merge is awaiting approval, you will still be able to make plans on behalf of the profile you manage. However, you will not be able to edit the name, birth date or settings for either profile. To edit that information, you will either need to cancel the merge request, or the person who received the merge request will need to approve it. Once they approve the merge request, the Guest who manages the newly merged profile will be able to edit the name, birth date and settings.
Please note: The newly merged profile will inherit the settings of the profile that was merged into, and only the Guest who manages that profile will be able to edit details, adjust settings and approve connections moving forward.
