Resort Monorail

Getting around Walt Disney World Resort is a breeze on the world-famous monorail, the “public transport of the future.”

Ride High in the Sky

Magic Kingdom park, Epcot and select Disney Deluxe Resort Hotels are just minutes away by monorail.

The Walt Disney World Monorail System has 3 separate lines that travel throughout Walt Disney World Resort.

The Resort Monorail, makes the following stops:

The Epcot Monorail and the Express Monorail originate at the TTC and offer express round-trip service to Epcot and Magic Kingdom park.

The Walt Disney World Monorail System operates from one hour prior to earliest park opening until one hour after latest park closing. Please note that no luggage or alcohol of any type is permitted on the monorail. All strollers must be folded and stowed out of the aisle. Medical strollers for Guests with disabilities will be treated as wheelchairs.

How to Use Disney Monorail Transportation

Getting where you want to go is easy! Just follow 2 simple steps, or ask a Cast Member.

Guests of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney’s Polynesian Resort enjoy convenient access to all monorail lines.

1. Pick up a brochure: At your point of departure, ask a Cast Member for a Walt Disney World Resort Transportation brochure. Familiarize yourself with the transportation system or ask a Cast Member.

2. Locate your stop: Wait at one of the convenient and well-marked pickup points at your hotel—and throughout Walt Disney World Resort. Your ride will arrive, usually within minutes, ready to transport you throughout the Resort. Keep in mind that certain destinations are not direct; you may be required to take a connecting mode of transport at the Transportation and Ticket Center to reach your destination.
