Walt Disney World Resort Golf Courses are one-of-a-kind venues for any events, group outings and tournaments you would like to make exceptionally memorable. Outings & Tournaments
When you plan a group outing or a golf tournament at Walt Disney World Resort, you discover the benefits of having your day organized your way, according to however you want to play! The golfing event staff accommodates a variety of formats and makes provisions for lessons and equipment rentals—all based on your group's specific needs and requests.
Set-up services provided by the Golf Event Manager and staff include:

All group outings also include full-service coordination by a knowledgeable Golf Event Manager, 18 holes of golf in a variety of fun-filled formats, use of locker rooms and practice facilities, electric golf carts and pre-round practice balls. For your attendees' convenience, Walt Disney World Resort golf courses have a professional line of clubs and shoes available for rent, and lessons can be arranged and customized so that every member of your group can comfortably participate in the fun.

This format accommodates all skill levels and is designed to foster team spirit. Groups of 3 or 4 each take a shot and all team members play from the location of the team's best shot, continuing until the ball is holed. The team with the lowest 18-hole score wins. |

Members of your group compete head-to-head in a tournament that allows each player to play individual ball and obtain a gross score. |

| Better Ball of Partners |
Teams can play individual strokes or accelerate the pace by permitting fellow players to pick up if experiencing a bad hole. Play is in teams of 2 or 4 with the best score per hole recorded. |

| Shotgun Start |
Large groups of 40 -144 players can start and finish at approximately the same time. Groups start on designated holes and continue play until completing 18 holes. |

| Regular Start from 1st Tee |
This format is ideal for more formal tournaments for golf leagues of any size. Players tee off in order and continue until all groups are in play. |

| Regular Start from 1st and 10th Tee |
Select this format for medium-sized groups of 41-128 people. Similar to a single tee sequential start except that play begins at the 1st and 10th tee simultaneously. Groups go out twice as fast but still get in all 18 holes of play. |
