What changes are taking place at Downtown Disney?
We are taking the Downtown Disney experience to the next level. We are doing this through enhancements to existing Downtown Disney locations. Extraordinary new shopping, dining and other experiences including a completely re-imagined Pleasure Island, and enhanced theming and story telling brought to life by Disney Imagineers.
What's changing on Pleasure Island?
As we're re-imagining this portion of Downtown Disney, we've shut down the nightclubs and are replacing them with an extraordinary mix of shopping, dining and other experiences for Guests of all ages. We're also currently considering a number of other unique concepts from around the globe. We look forward to sharing our progress over the coming months!
What has remained open on Pleasure Island?
Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant, Fuego by Sosa Cigars, Curl by Sammy Duval, Orlando Harley-Davidson and outdoor food and beverage locations on Pleasure Island are remaining open during the transition.
What do the changes on Pleasure Island mean to a Pleasure Island Annual Passholder?
The closing of the Pleasure Island nightclubs impacts the Passholder's ability to use his or her Pleasure Island Annual Pass. Passholders who would like to request a pro-rated refund can stop by any Guest Relations location or Vacation Planning booth at the Walt Disney World Resort or call (407) 827-2281.
What do the changes on Pleasure Island mean to a Walt Disney World Premium Annual Passholder?
Your Premium Annual Pass no longer includes admission to the Pleasure Island nightclubs. Instead, Guests with a Premium Annual Pass can play a round of golf at Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course—a relaxed, 9-hole walking course designed for the entire family! How do the changes on Pleasure Island affect my Water Park Fun & More ticket option at Walt Disney World Resort?
The Water Park Fun & More ticket option no longer includes admission to the Pleasure Island nightclubs. In addition to a certain number of visits to your choice of Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park, or Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex, it now also includes a round of golf at Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course—a relaxed, 9-hole walking course designed for the entire family.
