Tell us more about the date-based tickets and pricing structure.

On Oct. 16, we introduced date-based tickets and pricing. Guests may purchase tickets online, by calling the Disney Reservation Center or visiting any ticket or Guest Relations window at Walt Disney World Resort, or through authorized travel professionals and ticket sellers. If purchasing tickets on DisneyWorld.com, guests will use an interactive online calendar, which displays different prices based on the dates they choose to visit and identifies the dates that the tickets can be used. The calendar also allows guests to conveniently see the lowest-priced days within a month. For example, prices may be lower during off-peak travel periods.

I purchased tickets prior to Oct. 16. Are they still valid or will I need to pay more?

Unused, unexpired tickets will remain valid at no additional cost. Tickets maintain the same terms and conditions – including the expiration date – as they had at the time of purchase.

Why are you moving to date-based tickets and pricing?

As our parks have increased in popularity, there are more and more guests who wish to experience our world-class attractions. Introducing date-based tickets and pricing will allow us to better distribute attendance throughout the year so that we can continue to improve the guest experience.

Yes. Florida residents will continue to receive a discount on select multi-day ticket types at this time.

Yes, for the first-time, most tickets can be modified online or through the My Disney Experience app up until the ticket start date. Guests can also modify their tickets up until the ticket start date by calling the Disney Reservation Center.

If the ticket is changed to a higher-priced date, guests will be responsible for paying the difference in price. There will be no refunds for changes to lower-priced dates. If modifications are needed after the ticket start date, guests must visit any ticket or Guest Relations window at Walt Disney World Resort.

How do guests purchase a ticket using the interactive calendar?

The website takes guests through the ticket purchase flow, from selecting a preferred ticket type to selecting a number of days to accessing the new, online interactive calendar that displays different prices based on the dates guests choose to visit and states tickets will need to be used during a specific time period.
