Affection Section in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is a shaded petting zoo where Guests of all ages can touch and feed a variety of friendly, domesticated animals.

Kilimanjaro Safaris

Kilimanjaro Safaris, an attraction for Guests of all ages, is a ride on an open-sided safari vehicle, which provides the chance to see African animals as they traverse the savannah terrain in the Africa area of Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

For safety, Guests should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back or neck problems, motion sickness or other conditions that could be aggravated by this ride. Expectant mothers should not ride.

Kids Discovery Clubs found throughout Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park provide opportunities for kids of all ages to discover nature's wonders through hands-on experiences such as reconstructing a dinosaur from bones and going on a scavenger hunt.

The Boneyard

The Boneyard in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is a dinosaur playground for preschoolers and grade school-age kids. There is a maze with slides, an archeological dig site and more, offering lots of ways for kids to play and explore.

The Oasis Exhibits

The Oasis Exhibits inside the entrance to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park are lush, tropical garden pathways filled with wildlife such as wallabies, deer and exotic birds. These garden paths lead to Safari Village, the center of the Theme Park.

The Tree of Life

The Tree of Life, a 14-story, 50-foot wide tree, is the centerpiece and icon in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Paths known as Discovery Trails weave around and through this homage to nature. Stroll the trails to see a swirling tapestry of 325 animals carved into the bark of this massive attraction.

Wildlife Express Train

Camp Minnie-Mickey Greeting Trails are designated outdoor meet-and-greet areas for some popular Disney Characters to gather, pose for photos and sign autographs in the Camp Minnie-Mickey area of Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade

Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade features popular Disney Characters, elaborately designed and African-influnced animal puppets, stiltwalkers, drummers and safari vehicles. Nearly 60 Cast Members contribut to this magnificent menagerie, which winds through the streets of Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park in the afternoon.

Festival of the Lion King

Festival of the Lion King, a scheduled 30-minute big-as-Broadway musical-stage show based on The Lion King movie, is performed in an indoor, air-conditioned theater-in-the-round in the Camp Minnie-Mickey area of Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

Flights of Wonder

Flights of Wonder in the Asia area of Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is a scheduled 25-minute live show that features 20 species of birds including hawks, macaws and eagles. This show is presented several times a day in a covered theater called the Caravan Stage.

DINOSAUR, a thrill ride for big kids, teens and adults in the DinoLand, U.S.A. area in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, is a race against time. The mission: go back 65 million years to capture a mild-mannered dinosaur without getting caught in the jaws of the angry, carnivorous—and hungry—Carnotaurus.

It's Tough to be a Bug! is an 8-minute, 3D movie and multimedia show, fun for big kids, teens and adults, hosted by Flik, the main character from the Disney-Pixar film, A Bug's Life. This theatrical journey takes place inside the base of The Tree of Life In Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

Location: Discovery Island

This attraction may be too intense for children and some adults.

Kali River Rapids in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is a thrilling river raft ride for big kids, teens and adults through a themed Asian rainforest that promises—and delivers—that the riders will get wet as they journey through the churning river, gushing geysers and exciting waterfalls.

Primeval Whirl in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is a carnival style, roller coaster-type ride for big kids, teens and adults with a time machine theme and cars that spin in circles as they speed along the track.

TriceraTop Spin in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is a leisurely flight around a giant top aboard a friendly flying dinosaur. This ride is especially for younger kids who can make their dinosaur go up and down as it floats around in a circle.

Expedition Everest

Expedition Everest in the Asia area of Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park is a high-altitude, high-speed, roller coaster train ride for big kids, teens and adults to the "Roof of the World," home of the inhospitable snarling beast, the Yeti, at the mountain's peak.

Location: Asia

For safety, Guests should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back or neck problems, motion sickness or other conditions that could be aggravated by this ride. Expectant mothers should not ride.

Height Requirement: 44" minimum

Guests must transfer from their wheelchair or electric convenience vehicle (ECV) to the attraction/ride vehicle

Each car contains a hinged side door to aid Guests using wheelchairs who must transfer to the ride vehicle.
