About Disney FairyTails Pin Trading Event
Gather with fellow pin enthusiasts for an exciting event filled with special pin trading opportunities and experiences. Guests wishing to attend the Disney FairyTails Pin Trading Event will need to select one of the following event packages:

  • Furry Friend Package - Admission is $150 per Guest.
  • Best in Show Package - Admission is $250 per Guest.
  • Package add-ons are optional, limited in quantity, and must be purchased in conjunction with a Furry Friend package or Best in Show package

This month offers limited-edition pins for those in search of Disney Parks-exclusive collectibles.

Sail into the season with an ocean of summer-inspired pins featuring Moana’s Pua and Hei Hei, The Little Mermaid’s Ariel and Flounder, and a very special edition celebrating the 30th anniversary of Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. About the Artist:
Esteemed artist Larry Dotson is best known  for his oil paintings of coastal scenes, sunsets and golf courses.

From 1983-1995, Larry showcased his works in his own galleries in Lahaina, Maui. Since Hawai'i is considered the art capital of the Pacific, these exhibits enabled him to reach clients worldwide.

Larry and his wife Patti currently live in Orlando, Florida. He continues to market his works in the Hawaiian Islands, Florida and nationwide.

About the Artist: Legacy Artist Dirk Wunderlich
Dirk’s interest in drawing Disney characters came at an early age. In the early 80’s, Dirk began to design advertising layouts and catalogs for Disney’s non-theatrical film rental division. That opportunity would lead to work on the launch of The Disney Channel. Years later, Dirk met Thomas Kinkade who saw real talent and took him under his wing. Through several years of working under Thomas’ direction, perfecting his techniques and styles, Dirk became a Thomas Kinkade Studios Legacy Artist.

About the Artist:
Ashley Taylor is a freelance designer and illustrator living in Southern California. Inspired by legendary artists like Mary Blair and Eyvind Earle, Ashley challenged herself to find her own voice as an artist. Throughout the years, she has worked with various studios and properties, including Marvel, Lucasfilm —and, of course, Disney. When she’s not working, Ashley enjoys traveling, hugging puppies and watching Audrey Hepburn movies.

Working in watercolors, David is internationally known for great attention to detail in his art. His work is available in Disney Theme Parks around the world and on Disney Cruise Line.

Jason Ratner is a graphic designer for the Walt Disney Company in Celebration, Florida. While primarily serving the marketing and sales team, Jason has completed design work for Disney Family, Disney Princess and Pixar social media channels over the years. His artwork is also frequently featured on the Disney Parks blog. Jason’s passion for Disney shows through his bright and whimsical artistry—featuring Disney characters and elements in an enchanting composition.

About the Artists

Don “Ducky” Williams – Don was born in Springfield, Massachusetts and his desire to be a Disney artist intensified as he grew up. Throughout his years of work, Don still yearned to be with Disney and spent much of his spare time drawing and painting Disney characters. In 1980, after quitting his job, Don made the move to Florida. Now, after years with Walt Disney Resorts Marketing, the acclaimed Senior Character Artist has drawn and illustrated thousands of Disney stars and is a guest presenter aboard the Disney Cruise Line ships.

Jason Peltz – Jason Peltz graduated from Carnegie Mellon with an illustration degree, which was put to use in New York City at Jim Henson Productions, Marvel Comics and Disney Consumer Products. After gaining some valuable industry experience, Jason moved to Orlando, continuing to work for Disney. He spent over a decade as a full-time freelancer, sculpting and illustrating for major clients such as Walt Disney Imagineering. Jason is currently working with Disney Creative Group as a character artist, designing merchandise for Disney Parks.

John Nadeau – John was born in Syracuse, NY but spent most of his life in Central Florida. Drawing from a young age, John Nadeau started as a comic artist in the late 1980s. He has worked on various comic book titles as a penciller and cover painter, including X-Wing: Rogue Squadron and the Star Wars ongoing series. John has co-written the series Murder Society. More recently, he has worked as a commercial artist and architectural renderer for various clients, including Disney. John is currently writing and drawing his own science fiction graphic novel.

About the Artist
Born in Toyohashi, Japan, Yasuhiko “Hiko” Maeda began exploring the arts as a young boy—and soon demonstrated a strong talent for sculpture and 3-dimensional artwork. After graduating in Japan with a degree in sculpture, Hiko’s artistic talents were soon discovered. Thus began his incredible career interpreting the 2-dimensional world of Precious Moments and transforming it into a 3-dimensional collection. 

In his role as Precious Moments Master Sculptor, Hiko is honored to know that his work brings comfort, hope and joy to so many people. When signing a figurine, Hiko draws a little heart as a message to his collectors—and to show respect and thanks for his career.

About the Artist
As a little girl, Linda Rick believed in fairy tales and faraway places—where her dolls would come to life and play, bringing happiness and laughter to everyone who saw them. In 1990, when her firstborn went to school, Linda started her doll-making business. In 2001, Linda became the doll designer for Precious Moments, Inc. and was instrumental in creating the Precious Moments dolls that are so beloved today. With an eye for beauty and a mind filled with imagination and artistry, Linda lovingly designs each doll from the heart.
