I invited someone to connect to my Family & Friends list in My Disney Experience. What does the connection status of “Invite Pending” mean?


When you invite a new person to connect to your Family & Friends list in My Disney Experience, they are sent an email message asking them to accept or decline your invitation. Until they respond, their status will be shown as “Invite Pending”.

In most cases, all you need to do is wait. If your connection request is declined, the connection status will be shown as "Invitation Declined".

If you wish to resend your invitation, select the “Invite Pending” link next to their name on your Family & Friends list.

Of course, you can also call or email the person you are trying to connect to and ask them to respond to your invitation. For security reasons, we cannot provide alternative ways to contact people you invite. 

If your request was declined and you believe that it should not have been, please double check the email address of the person you are inviting and confirm that it is correct. Also, keep in mind that children are unable to accept invitations to connect—their parents or guardians must do so for them.

If you have repeatedly tried to connect to someone, and you are unable to do so for what you believe are technical reasons, please call (407) 939-4357. Guests under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian permission to call.
