The Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend presented by Cigna® brings a range of events and races through exciting locations across all 4 theme parks.

It’s a perfect chance to see a different side of Walt Disney World Resort as you and fellow Guests walk, jog or sprint along. Finishers even receive medals of Mickey Mouse and his friends!

Walt Disney World Marathon

Hit the ground running on the final race of the weekend and experience the most magical 26.2 miles on earth through all 4 theme parks and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 5:30 AM.

Walt Disney World Half Marathon

Join the fun with a delightful 13.1-mile run through Magic Kingdom park and Epcot. Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 5:30 AM.

Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge

Accept Goofy’s challenge and enjoy 2 races in 2 days across 4 parks for 39.3 miles of fun! Complete both the half marathon and full marathon—and get a chance to earn the coveted Goofy medal in addition to your Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse finisher medals. Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 5:30 AM and Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 5:30 AM.

Take the whole family out for a great time running together through Epcot on a 5K that concludes with a thrilling finish! Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 6:00 AM.

Dopey Challenge

Compete in the ultimate endurance challenge—a 4-day series of fun races that cover a distance of 48.6 miles. Run the 5K, 10K, half marathon and marathon, with a chance of winning 6 medals including the new Dopey Challenge finisher medal. Thursday, January 5 through Sunday, January 8, 2017.

runDisney Kids' Races

Get the little ones warmed up for Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend at one of many runDisney Kids’ Races—with every child 13 and younger going home a winner with a finisher medallion to prove it! Thursday, January 5 through Saturday, January 7, 2017. Each day, dashes begin at 11:00 AM and a 1-mile run is held at 12:30 PM.
