History
Performed in the 1,500-seat Theater of the Stars along Sunset Boulevard, this attraction premiered on November 22, 1991—the same day that the animated feature film Beauty and the Beast opened in theaters across the U.S. This was the first time that a stage show opened the same day as the movie that inspired it.

This production features some of the beloved vocal talents from the hit film. Vocal performances by Robby Benson as the Beast, Angela Lansbury as Mrs. Potts and Jerry Orbach as Lumiere add a special touch to this elegant musical production.

Upon entering the park, be sure to check the Times Guide at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the schedule. Since this is an outdoor show, it is subject to cancellation due to inclement weather. In addition, shows may not occur daily and are subject to change.
