Gallop over to Whispering Canyon Café at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge for darn good food and a darn good time. Our Western-themed eatery offers an American cuisine, and our Cast Members are sure to put the giddy in your giddy-up with their tomfoolery.
Round up the family for a rollickin’ good time. Our sassy wait staff provides service with attitude and goofy humor. Dressed in cowboy attire, they lead spontaneous hobby horse races around the dining room, break out in spirited sing-alongs and more.
Our family-friendly restaurant is great for kids, young and old, particularly for those with an affinity for the Old West. Our décor features paintings of Western events as well as cowboy and Indian decals on the back of our chairs.
The golden glow from our dining room’s light fixtures, designed to look like mini-tepees, illuminate your meal and the shenanigans of our wisecracking waiters. Watch what happens when you ask for ketchup or a refill on your soda.
Enjoy our paintings, including one of a rodeo cowboy riding a bucking bull, and when listening to the raucous created by our wait staff, marvel at the irony of our restaurant’s name. It seems no one knows how to whisper. But that’s the fun of it.

On May 11, 2025, Whispering Canyon Cafe will offer a special Mother’s Day brunch from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Please be aware that the regular breakfast and lunch menus will not be available during this time.

From May 12 through May 21, 2025, Whispering Canyon Café will be closed for refurbishment. During this time, Guests can choose from a variety of other dining locations at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, including Territory Lounge, Roaring Fork, Geyser Point Bar & Grill and Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White.

House-made buttermilk-cheddar biscuits, sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon and Mickey waffles
The Carnivore Skillet
Maple-chipotle barbecued slow-smoked pork ribs, citrus-herb chicken, country potatoes and charred carrots.
The Lighter Side Skillet
Bircher muesli, fresh fruit and yogurt with an egg white-spinach frittata, turkey bacon, turkey sausage, country potatoes and Mickey-shaped waffles

Corral your wild bunch later in the day for a country-style dinner to sink your teeth into even more all-you-care-to enjoy signature skillets featuring oak-smoked mustard-barbecued beef brisket, braised pork belly or house-smoked salmon. All skillets come with lip-smackin’ cowboy sides. The Plant-based skillet features maple-chipotle barbecued jackfruit, mustard-glazed beefless tips, oven-roasted carrots and charred peppers.
