An Interactive Intergalactic Adventure

Dazzling 3D graphics, in-theater special effects and booming digital sound make you feel like you’re really there!

Get ready for a bumpy ride as Captain EO and crew crash-land on the surface of an alien planet to present the Supreme Leader of the Dark Side an important gift. Though well intentioned, the gift is not well received, and Captain EO will have to use some slick moves—and slick tunes, including “We Are Here to Change the World” and “Another Part of Me”—to triumph over the evil forces of darkness.

A Tribute
Relive the magic of Captain EO in all its glory.  Even today, you’ll have to resist the urge to reach out and pet Fuzzball, the cute little winged space monkey, as he flies towards you! The attraction now includes a behind-the-scenes featurette, and the beloved space fantasy has a restored film print, enhanced sound, and other surprises as you watch EO and his comedic cohorts bring color and beauty to the world through music.

EO 2.0: A Classic Revamped

Executive producer George Lucas and director Francis Ford Coppola changed the world when they released Captain EO in 1986. A revolutionary filming process using twin 70mm polarizing projectors and “4D” in-theater effects made it the most expensive film per minute ever produced at the time, costing an estimated $30 million and clocking in at 17 minutes.

Screening in the same Imagination! Pavilion Magic Eye Theater where it aired from 1986 to 1994, Captain EO features show-stopping musical numbers, original songs written by Michael Jackson and dazzling choreography that will take a new generation of Guests on a journey to the stars.
