There's no Time like "Fall" to Take the Plunge - If You Dare

At 36.6 metre, it's the tallest water slide in America, sending the brave plummeting 55 mph almost straight down into the heated waters at the base of the mountain. Thrilling and refreshing? Absolutely... but only if you dare to face the challenge of Summit Plummet at Blizzard Beach.

TODAY'S HOURS:
10:00am - 5:00pm

Walt Disney World Resort - Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park Monthly Hours
INFORMATION LINKS:
Disney's Blizzard Beach will be closed for refurbishment January 10 through March 20, 2010; Disney's Typhoon Lagoon is open during this time.

Disney legend has it that after a freak winter storm blanketed the area with snow, Florida's first ski resort was born. When temperatures returned to normal, the powdery snow turned to slippery slush. Slalom courses, bobsled and toboggan runs became downhill waterslides. The chair lift carried swimmers instead of skiers. The ski jump became the tallest, fastest water slide in the nation. You are invited to what has become Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, the most slushy, slippery, exhilarating water park anywhere!

TIPS & FUN FACTS
We recommend wearing one-piece swimsuits on the more thrilling attractions, including Humunga Kowabunga at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Summit Plummet at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. In addition, swimwear with rivets, buckles or exposed metal is not permitted on the attractions.

Tired of zipping down water slides? Both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon have "lazy rivers" that circle the entire Park. Hop in and relax!
