Recreation
Recreation at Disney's Polynesian Resort provides fun for the entire family, with 2 pools, 3 beaches, bike and watercraft rentals, a children's activity center and access to a health club and spa.
Beaches
Relax on white-sand beaches, perfect for sunbathing and sandcastle-building. Lounge chairs, cabanas and hammocks also make this a great place for viewing the Electrical Water Pageant or the fireworks at Disney's Magic Kingdom theme park area. Check your Times Guide to see what time the fireworks will begin.
Bike Rentals
Surrey bikes for 2 or 4 people are available at the marina.
Fishing
Arrange for a fun-filled fishing trip for the entire family with a Bass Nitro Fishing Excursion or for kids with a Junior Fishing Excursion (Kids' Fishing Around the World). (Catch and release only) For more information, call the Concierge at (407) WDW BASS or (407) 939-2277.
Jogging Trails
There are several jogging trails at Disney's Polynesian Resort, including an enjoyable and scenic 1.5-mile jog on a trail around the Seven Seas Lagoon.
Moana Mickey's Arcade
Moana Mickey's Arcade is a high-tech game room located next to the Never Land Club that features both classic arcade games and the latest in video game entertainment. Open 24 hours, it's the perfect place to get your game on.
Never Land Club Birthday Party
Never Land Club, located near the bus stop, across from the Great Ceremonial House, is a supervised activity center for children ages 4 to12 that is open daily from 4:00 p.m. to midnight for an additional fee.
At this Peter Pan-themed play space, children are invited to play video games, enjoy dinner and snacks, watch Disney movies and interact with other kids their age.
Pools
The Nanea Volcano Pool, one of two heated pools at Disney's Polynesian Resort, features a 40-foot high volcano as well as a waterfall and a 142-foot tubular waterslide. Nearby is a children's wet-play area. The beach end of the pool requires no steps to enter or exit, and a specialized water wheelchair is available, allowing access directly into the pool.
The Poly East Pool, also called the "quiet pool," offers deeper depths.
Disney's Grand Floridian Spa & Health Club
Disney's Grand Floridian Spa & Health Club , located just one monorail stop away, is available to Guests of Disney's Polynesian Resort. Work out on state-of-the-art exercise equipment or book a rejuvenating spa experience. The full-service spa offers body and water therapies, skincare, manicures, pedicures and soothing massage.
Mikala Canoe Club Marina
Mikala Canoe Club Marina is located at the marina and offers watercraft rentals, including canoes, Sun Tracker pontoon boats, 14-foot Dual Hull sailboats, a 17-foot Boston Whaler Montauk Boat and Sea Raycers by Sea Ray. In addition, there are various Specialty Cruises that can be reserved.
