Recreation at Disney's Beach Club Resort features seaside delights for the whole family, such as pools, health club, spa, fishing, watercraft, jogging trails, an arcade and playgrounds for kids.
Beach
The white sands on the shores of scenic Crescent Lake offer a great place to run, tan and play to your heart's content. Watch the light play across the water's surface as the sun sets, and when night falls, delight in the sight of the illuminated BoardWalk across the way.
Fishing
Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts and Disney's BoardWalk Inn & Villas provide Bass Fishing Excursions at the marina. Excursions last approximately 2 hours and take place along Crescent Lake. Jogging Trail
The Disney's Beach Club Resort jogging trail passes 5 Epcot area Resort hotels and loops around the scenic Crescent Lake for approximately 0.8 miles.
Lafferty Place Arcade
A 24-hour, high-tech game room located in the Yacht & Beach Club Common area. Classic arcade favorites and the latest in video-gaming entertainment.
Playground
Climb, slide and play at a 24-hour playground located adjacent to Stormalong Bay.
Quiet Pools and Spas
Guests seeking a tranquil pool experience can choose from 3 quiet pools in Disney's Beach and Yacht Club Resorts. Disney's Beach Club Resort pool is located in a garden area on the far end of the resort facing Crescent Lake, and also includes a steaming Jacuzzi. Disney's Yacht Club Resort pool can be found in its own quiet garden area. A third pool is privately located in the Beach Club Villas. Though it is situated for the convenience of Guests staying in the Beach Club Villas, all Resort Guests are welcome to enjoy it. An additional spa is found in the Ship Shape Health Club.
Sandcastle Club
The Sandcastle Club is a supervised activity center that keeps children laughing and playing the whole evening through while parents roam out for a carefree night on the town. The Club accommodates children ages 4-12, entertaining them with arts and crafts, computer games, Disney movies, dinner and snacks in a lively environment created just for them.
Reservations are required for the Sandcastle Club, open daily from 4:30 p.m. to midnight. Please call the Front Desk or Concierge Services for reservations and more information.
Ship Shape Health Club
The Ship Shape Health Club offers state-of-the-art Nautilus and Hammer Strength exercise equipment. Do some body-pampering with skin care and hair services, saunas and steam rooms and deeply therapeutic massage therapy. Please note that spa services include a surcharge (starting at $50) and require an appointment.
Open 24 hours a day with an attendant present from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Guests wanting 24-hour access to the club must meet with an attendant to sign a waiver and obtain a 24-hour access key. Resort Guests must be 14 years of age or older to use the facilities, and Guests 14 to 17 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Stormalong Bay
Stormlong Bay is a beachside water park that offers up 3 acres of aquatic fun for the whole family. Catch currents in an expansive sand-bottomed pool or a lazy circular river, explore the "Shipwreck" and slide down one of the highest hotel waterslides at Walt Disney World Resort, or simply lie on the elevated tanning deck and soak up the sun's golden rays.
With 750,000 gallons of water comprising an impressive complex of pools that range from swirling to placid, open to secluded and cool to warm, every member of your family can find a place to make a splash at Stormalong Bay. Guppy Bay Kiddie pool lets even the youngest of Guests in on the fun.
Tennis and Racquetball
Hit the courts for a rousing open-air match. Private tennis lessons are offered daily at the Tennis Center. Racquets and balls are provided so you need only to bring your swing! For reservations and more information, please call (407) 621-1991.
Volleyball
Have fun under the sun at our sandy lakeside volleyball courts. Start up a match with a pal, or join one already in progress.
Lakeside Marina and Watercraft Rentals
The water beckons at Disney's Beach Club Resort marina. Take the family (or yourself) out for a jaunt on the water with a range of rented watercraft. Pick a Pontoon Boat or perhaps a Sea Ray Sea Raycer. If you prefer not to do your own steering, you can event choose to take a specialty cruise (nominal fees apply).
