Wanyama Safari and Dinner is exclusively for Guests staying at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas . The Wanyama Safari and Dinner is offered in the afternoon seven days a week, subject to availability.
Join the group of adventurers, no more than 12 Guests per excursion (ages 8 and up, please), in the porte cochere at the main entrance to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, and embark on a 3-hour recreation of a true African afternoon safari drive. Get up-close to the animals and end the event with a multi-course meal served family style at Jiko - The Cooking Place .
This safari is an opportunity to spend time with members from the Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge animal programs team. Learn about the natural history and management of the animal collection at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Enjoy incredible photo opportunities of the animals and architecture of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge that can only be experienced from the perspective on the savanna.
Dinner at Jiko – The Cooking Place
After the safari, return to Jiko in Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge for a savory dinner. The menu begins with traditional African dips, breads and appetizers. The entrees include vegan, vegetarian and meat-based dishes, like oak roasted filet of beef with mac & cheese and chermoula roasted chicken. The meal ends with choices from the sweet dessert platter.

Guest Policies
Not permitted in dining room: Tank tops, swimwear, hats for gentleman, cut offs, or torn clothing. While T-shirts are now allowed, the policy remains that T-shirts with offensive language or graphics are not acceptable.
