Attraction at Magic Kingdom® Park

"Swiss Family Robinson" was written in 1812 by Johann David Wyss. The Disney film of the same name was released in 1960.

Swiss Family Treehouse is a fascinating treehouse inspired by the film Swiss Family Robinson, high above ground in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom theme park.
Transport yourself into the lives of the Robinsons, a family of 6 who were tossed onto a deserted South Seas island after a shipwreck.
This walk-through attraction takes you way up high—6 stories, to be exact—as you explore the well-improvised living quarters and everyday effects of the parents and their 3 boys. There's even a bucket pulley system that brings water up to the family's home.
Swiss Family Treehouse is easily the envy of anyone who has ever dreamed of living "away" from it all. Stay deserted in this leafy paradise for a while!
