At the time of the Disney animated film release in 1941, Dumbo was slated to appear on the cover of Time magazine until more newsworthy events at Pearl Harbor occurred on December 7.
Guests of all ages are invited to fly high in the sky with Dumbo The Flying Elephant in this classic attraction in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom theme park .
Hop inside one of 16 delightfully detailed, Dumbo-themed gondolas and take off into the sky above Magic Kingdom theme park to soar with Dumbo as he discovers his ability to fly.
During your aerial adventure around the circus, maneuver the easy-to-handle joystick inside your Dumbo gondola up or down to control just how high—or how low—you want to go.
The popular attraction features jovial circus music, led by a band organ, and includes Dumbo's faithful friend, Timothy Mouse, atop a decorative hot-air balloon at the center of the attraction.
Dumbo The Flying Elephant is inspired by the title character from the 1941 Disney animated motion picture. Now you too can fly like Dumbo!

- Guests may remain in their wheelchair, motorized scooter or ECV to experience the attraction.
- Guests using wheelchairs should enter using ramp located on right.

To use the FASTPASS system, simply slip your Park Pass into the FASTPASS machine to receive a ticket with an assigned return time and enjoy the rest of the Park while Disney's FASTPASS service saves your place in line.
- Some attractions offer a Rider Swap option. Rider Swap is when Guests take turns waiting with youngsters too small to ride a certain attraction then "swapping" with another Guest from their party to experience the ride without standing in line twice. See a Cast Member for additional information.
- Single and double-passenger strollers are available to rent at Disney Theme Parks. Quantities are limited and subject to availability. The Length of Stay Rental Ticket Option allows for multiple-day rentals. Baby Care Centers, where you can change and feed your baby, are located within each Theme Park.
