Fun Facts

A reproduction of the Chella Minaret in the capital city of Rabat rises above the shops and shoppers in the Medina.

Morocco Pavilion is a cultural area in Epcot theme park where Guests of all ages can enter a distant land designed after a Moroccan city.

A realistic Koutoubia Minaret leads the way into this faraway land of traditional belly dancers, intricate Moroccan architecture and swirling mosaics made by native craftsmen. The Morocco Pavilion has 2 fascinating sections: the Ville Nouvelle (new city) and the Medina (old city). Discover a bustling plaza with a variety of shops and be on the lookout for some familiar Arabian Disney friends throughout the day.

  • Dining: Enjoy the scrumptious delights and marvelous belly dancers at Restaurant Marrakesh , serving typical Moroccan fare such as roast lamb, Couscous and Harira Soup.
  • Entertainment: Listen to the incredible world music of Mo'Rockin' . Enjoy beautiful belly dancers during dinner at Restaurant Marrakesh. View some incredible artifacts at the Gallery of Arts and History museum and see the Fez House, an example of a typical Moroccan dwelling. Plus, Aladdin, Princess Jasmine and Genie appear daily in the Morocco Pavilion.
  • Shopping: Fascinating shops offer authentic goods like Rabat carpets, woven belts, leather sandals, fabulous fezzes, beautiful brass pots and planters, and much more.

Quick Tips

  • To avoid long waits, don't make the Spaceship Earth attraction at Epcot theme park your first stop in the morning because it is the most popular in the morning. The wait will be shorter at any other part of the day.
  • The Seas with Nemo & Friends Pavilion features lots for kids to do in Epcot theme park. In addition to The Seas with Nemo & Friends attraction, check out the Turtle Talk with Crush attraction and visit different educational exhibits showcasing all sorts of sea creatures.
  • Catch up with the famous 152-year-old sea turtle, Crush from Disney•Pixar's animated hit film Finding Nemo, in Turtle Talk with Crush —a show where select Guests get a chance to talk directly to the big kahuna.   • Popular Disney Characters can be found at the Epcot Character Spot in the Future World area and near the Japan, Morocco, France and United Kingdom pavilions in the World Showcase area of Epcot theme park—so don't forget to bring your autograph book!
  • Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros is a gentle boat ride through the pyramid-shaped Mexico Pavilion in Epcot theme park. This attraction, fun for all ages, stars Donald Duck and his friends Panchito, a Mexican rooster, and José Carioca, a Brazilian parrot. Climb aboard and join the party!
