Family and Friends
The Family and Friends feature allows you to plan your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort with other guests. You can add Managed Friends to your account and create a Site/App profile for them that you control. Guests you identify on your reservations will automatically appear on your account as Managed Friends. You can also connect with Friends who have their own Site/App profiles ("Connected Friends").
Connected Friends share itinerary and activity information, and can book activities for one another (like dining reservations and FastPass+ selections). If you want to allow others to make reservations for you, you can add Connected Friends. In addition, if you do not want others to have access to your Friend List for purposes of sending requests to connect to your Friends, you can disable the "Share Friend List" feature in your account settings.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS
- The Family and Friends feature is a convenient tool for planning and managing your Resort visit with others. You and others can assign Park Experience benefits to one another, share itineraries and plan activities together and for each other.
- To use this feature, you will need to sign in to your Site/App account and create a list of "Managed Friends" and/or "Connected Friends." When we use the term "Friends," we are referring to Managed Friends and Connected Friends collectively. When we use the term "Friend List," we are referring only to the list of the names and/or character photos of your Friends.
- Profile names and character photos of guests are not private and may be visible to Friends and to Friends of Friends. You may remove Friends from your account at any time.
- Managed Friends are guests with Profiles you create and manage on their behalf, such as people in your Experience Party who do not create their own Site/App account or those who are not eligible to do so (for example, children under 13). The names of guests you identify as part of your Experience Party when booking certain benefits (such as dining reservations) through the Site/App are automatically added to your account as Managed Friends.
- You are completely in control of your Managed Friends' Profiles and the information you provide regarding your Managed Friends. You also decide whether others may become Connected Friends with your Managed Friends through your Site/App account.
- Connected Friends are guests whose Profiles are not controlled by you, but who agree to "connect" with you for purposes of planning Resort visits with you. These guests either have their own Site/App account, or have a Profile that is managed by another guest who has authorized the connection.
- You can invite guests to connect with you only if you know their email address or if you see them on the Friend List of one of your Connected Friends. If you do not want to share your Friend List, you can go to your Account Settings and disable the "Share Friend List" feature. Keep in mind that profile names and character photos are not private and may still be visible to Friends and to Friends of Friends, even when the "Share Friend List" feature is disabled, and that Friends or Friends of Friends inviting you to connect with them can be travel agents. You have the right to decide whether or not to connect with anyone.
- The Family and Friends feature allows you to assign or match Experience benefits and certain Resort products and services purchased (such as ticket entitlements) to your Friends and plan activities for them (such as Disney FastPass+ selections and dining reservations). Your Connected Friends will also have the right to plan activities for you and modify activities planned together such as FastPass+ selections. Connected Friends can view your entitlements and activities, but you may choose whether your Connected Friends can see all of your activities, or only activities that you have in common with them.
- You may visit the Site/App to view activities your Connected Friends have selected for you, and you may choose whether you want to participate in these activities. However, FastPass+ selections made for you by your Connected Friends will count against the limited number of FastPass+ selections you may hold, and are subject to modification restrictions and expiration rules. Please see the "Disney FastPass+ Service" section of these Experience Terms for details.
- You acknowledge that by sending and/or accepting an invitation to become Connected Friends, you authorize your Connected Friends to plan and modify activities for you, including making FastPass+ selections for you, without notice to you.
- If you create your own Site/App account and connect with someone who used to manage you as a Managed Friend, the activities that person previously planned for you will be added to your itinerary, and the Friends they approved to connect with you will be added to your Friend List as Connected Friends. As with any Connected Friends, these Connected Friends will be able to view the items on your itinerary that they previously planned for you and will be able to make and modify activities on your behalf. You can edit your Friend List at any time.
- If someone you've been planning for as a Managed Friend has their own Site/App account, you can invite them to connect with you as a Connected Friend so that all of the entitlements and activities you have purchased and planned for them will be associated with their Site/App account. Once someone you managed becomes a Connected Friend, you no longer control their Friend List and profile. The activities you planned for them and the Friends you approved for them will be added to their account.
- We are not liable or responsible for the conduct of the Friends you choose to connect with on the Site/App (including travel agents), including their planning or modifying activities on your behalf, or for a Friend's use of any information you chose to share with the Friend (including travel agents).
