Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, part of the Norway Pavilion within Epcot theme park World Showcase, provides a Disney Princess Storybook Dining experience in a medieval castle-themed restaurant. Here, you can delight in American cuisine for breakfast and Norwegian-inspired entrees for lunch and dinner.

Each meal starts with an adventurous "Taste of Norway," an impressive Norwegian buffet (koldtbord) of cold dishes. For breakfast, American favorites are served family style as well as from a breakfast buffet featuring breakfast breads, a yogurt station and a selection of fresh fruit . Lunch and dinner feature hot entrees available à la carte, such as::

• Sample Lunch Menu: Includes seared salmon cakes, open-faced sandwiches, Norwegian meatballs, mushroom-stuffed pasta and oven-roasted chicken breast
• Sample Dinner Menu: Includes pan-seared salmon, Norwegian meatballs, mushroom-stuffed pasta, oven-roasted chicken breast, grilled pork tenderloin and seared herb-dusted beef tips

Across the koldtbord is a grand selection of prepared salads, sliced meats and cheeses. Children's menu choices are more familiar: pizza, pasta, hot dogs and grilled chicken.

Feel like royalty while you dine. High-beamed ceilings, decorative leaded-glass windows and sweeping archways contribute to the authentic castle atmosphere.

Also adding to the regal scene are the Disney Princesses, leading ladies and friends who visit diners at their tables to share a smile, give autographs and pose for pictures.
