Q: What are the dates for the 2009 Festival of the Masters?
A: The 2009 Festival of the Masters will be held at the Downtown Disney® West Side at Walt Disney World® Resort from Friday, November 13 through Sunday, November 15, 2009.
Q: What are the qualifications to enter Festival of the Masters?
A: An applicant to Festival of the Masters must be a primary award winner in a juried art show or festival within the last four years.
Q: What are the operating hours for the Festival?
A: Artist exhibits are open Friday and Saturday from 9:30am till 5:30pm, and Sunday from 9:30am till 5pm
Q: How do I get an application?
A: Applications for this year's event were due in our offices by June 19, 2009. Notification of the results of the selection process will be mailed to applicants by August 8, 2009.
Q: What are the application and exhibit space fees?
A: Each application must be accompanied by two (2) checks payable to the Walt Disney World Co — $30 Check as a non-refundable jury fee and a $300 entry fee that will be deposited when the artist is selected to exhibit. (This $300 check will be returned to artists not selected to exhibit.)
Q: What time can I begin to load in?
A: Thursday, November 6, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Friday November 7, 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Q: Is power available?
A: No, Downtown Disney® Area does not supply power and it is not available for purchase.
Q: What meals will be provided for the participating artists?
A: Downtown Disney® Area provides morning coffee from a central location and lunch each day of the Festival for all participating artists. Artists are encouraged to bring any other non-alcoholic beverages for their personal use.
